Latin Voices Live!
Fri 2 Aug 2013
Take part in a host of themed events and activities as Mexico's most famous holiday Day of the Dead (Dia de los Muertos) rattles Brighton’s bones in a one-day celebration of Latin cultures around the world. There'll be live music, food, film, talks, arts and crafts, and plenty of fun for children – from skull- and mask-making to face-painting and papelpicado (Mexico's ancient folk art). Come dressed as ‘Day of the Dead’, and bring your own token of remembrance to honour lost loved ones and family.
In association with Writing Our Legacy and MEXSAS (Mexican Student Association at Sussex University).
