When life gives Rhod lemons…

'Darkly hilarious. It’s good to have him back' – The Times

In his last show The Book of John, Rhod was dealing with some pretty pungent life citrus, and an idiot called John. Little did he know that things were about to turn even more sour…

But Rhod’s not bitter; he’s bouncing back and feeling remarkably zesty.

Hilariously dark, passionate and way too personal, this is classic Gilbert, squeezing every last drop out of life’s latest curveballs...with a little help from an old adversary.

'After the year I’ve had it’s wonderful to be alive and going back on the road,' says Glibert. 'When life gives you lemons, you have to squeeze them 'til the comedy juice flows, so prepare for some dark and funny s***'.

As one of the UK’s leading stand-up comedy talents, Rhod has enjoyed many successful years as a star of television and radio. He currently hosts Rhod Gilbert’s Growing Pains for Comedy Central and is the former host of The Apprentice: You’re Fired and Never Mind the Buzzcocks. He's appeared countless times on QI, Would I Lie to You? and 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown and made a very memorable splash on Taskmaster alongside James Acaster, Jessica Knappett, Kerry Godliman and Phil Wang. He's also performed three times on The Royal Variety Performance.

Candid, dark, hilarious and uplifting; this is a show about navigating life’s giant hurdles and turning lemons into lemonade.

'Volcanic, high-octane humour. Uproariously funny' – The Guardian

'Without doubt one of the best comedians anywhere in the world' – Time Out
