On Sat 6 Apr, it will be 50 years since ABBA sang Waterloo at Brighton Dome and took the Eurovision crown. Boogaloo Stu and Dynamite Sal are huge ABBA fans, so it is entirely fitting that the Dynamite Boogaloo crew are throwing a party at Brighton Dome to celebrate this momentous occasion.
Dynamite Waterloo promises be a very special, unique occasion; an affectionate salute to one of the most popular and successful musical groups of all time. Join Stu, Sal and a stellar line-up of special guests on Sat 6 Apr at Brighton Dome's Studio theatre for an amazing afternoon of all things ABBA.
While Boogaloo Stu leads this magnificent matinée with customary, spangly aplomb, Dynamite Sal will spin a non-stop selection of ABBA’s biggest tunes - a whole three hours of wall-to-wall rock-solid ABBA. Onstage, Boogaloo Stu and dance-troupe Sparklemotion will put you through your paces in the Dancing Queen flashmob dance; later, the stage show will feature an ABBA tribute like no other, with a quartet comprising Boogaloo Stu, the legendary Dolly Rocket, the astonishing sax-tooting drag star Snow White Trash, and the internationally-acclaimed cabaret icon (and Dynamite Boogaloo drag alumni) Le Gateau Chocolat.
You can also add your hazy ABBA recollections for posterity in the ABBA Memory Booth, where you can also pick up your Dynamite Waterloo souvenir badge.
