Our volunteer opportunities are supported by Good Space, funded through Arts Council England and UK Government funding. 

Front of House Volunteers

Brighton Dome are excited to be opening the opportunity for Volunteers to support our year round Front of House Team. We are seeking friendly and enthusiastic people to take on Volunteer positions at our range of creative, music and comedy events. You will become an integral and valuable member of the Brighton Dome community, and will receive opportunities to train, gain experience and receive digital badges.

Join us between 4–7pm on Thu 1 Jun for a Recruitment Day. You will participate in some practical group activities for approximately 1 hour and staff will be on hand to assist you with filling in an application if you haven't already done so.

Good Space Social Media Volunteer

We are looking for volunteers who can use prebuilt templates to create new and engaging content for the Good Space social media accounts. Utilising social media sites such a Facebook, Instagram and Twitter to promote the project and celebrate its successes. This role can be done from home and hours are flexible.

Heritage Research Volunteer

We are looking for enthusiastic people to join our Heritage Research Team at Brighton Dome. Heritage research volunteers help us to find out more about the history and heritage of Brighton Dome and the Royal Pavilion estate.

You don’t need any previous experience and there is no minimum commitment requirement, you can volunteer as much or as little as you like. You can research at home, through books, the internet, public libraries and archives. Our friendly team meets once a week in person or online to discuss our next research task and plan exhibition displays and Open Days.

Heritage Fact Checker Volunteer

We work with a wonderful team of volunteers to help uncover fascinating stories of the history and heritage of Brighton Dome and the Royal Pavilion Estate. These stories are used to create exhibitions and displays and inform community events and activities, as well as create online blog posts and content.

We are looking for volunteers who can help us ensure that all the information and images we use are accurate. You do not need any previous experience, just a keen eye for detail and excellent written english skills. There is no minimum requirement, you can volunteer as much or as little as you like at a time to suit you.

This would be a great opportunity for someone interested in learning research skills for further academic study or museum studies. You can earn a digital badge to recognise the skills and experience you gain.
