Patti Smith and Her Band

Tue 14 Nov 2017

The original art-punk queen and rebel rock icon returns with her band to Brighton Dome.

Patti Smith cut her teeth on the '70s New York scene, and has been making rousing, literate and cathartic rock 'n' roll ever since. From her seminal 1975 debut Horses to mid-90s collaborations with Jeff Buckley, John Cale and Tom Verlaine, Patti Smith's uncompromising creativity and restless energy have inspired a generation of imitators and admires.

Since the turn of the millennium Smith has been inducted into the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame, released a string of acclaimed albums, been the subject of Steven Sebring's cult documentary Dream of Live, and authored the award-winning memoirs Just Kids and M Train, as well as being named one of Rolling Stone's 100 Greatest Artists of All Time.
