Director of Programming
Are you an experienced senior arts programmer looking for a diverse and exciting environment in which to work?
We wholeheartedly believe that the arts can change lives and are looking for someone to join us in that aim at Brighton Dome & Brighton Festival. The Director of Programming will work closely with our CEO and Festival Producing Director to devise and execute a credible artistic programming strategy to drive the strategic, artistic, social and financial relevance and resilience of the organisation.
We are looking for commitment to excellence in the arts, demonstrable knowledge of a wide range of art forms, diverse cultures and current artistic practice, significant contacts within the arts industry, commercial awareness and strong negotiation skills and outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to build relationships with a wide range of people, both internally and externally, and to work collaboratively with colleagues.
