Formed in Salford in 1980, Happy Mondays fused funk, rock and rave culture to define the sound of a generation. With their unmistakable groove, they became an important part of the Manchester music scene, scoring platinum success with Pills ’n’ Thrills and Bellyaches and hit singles like Step On and Yes Please.
