Illustrators in Conversation

Fri 2 Aug 2013

Join two leading names in children’s book illustration for an evening of conversation and insight for artists, students and anyone who loves picture books.

You’ll know Oliver Jeffers’ colourful, quirky style from Lost and Found, How to Catch a Star and This Moose Belongs to Me (Irish Children’s Book of the Year). Raised in Northern Ireland, Oliver now lives and works in Brooklyn where he makes arts and tells stories. He'll be back in the UK to celebrate the publication of The Day the Crayons Quit and the paperback publication of This Moose Belongs to Me.

David Mackintosh has excelled in his field as a graphic designer, art director and illustrator, and his innovative book designs have won him numerous design awards in Britain and internationally. He has published three critically acclaimed children’s books for HarperCollins, the most recent of which Standing in for Lincoln Green.
